I was curious about this place, it seemed to be full all the time, so I decided to try it out. The place felt welcoming as we walked in. The friendly waitress took our order and the food was excellent. Homemade goodness, from the chips, salsa and very delicious beans, to the menudo and barbacoa. Come check it out for yourself, I think you'll like it.

Really nice place if you are into down home traditional tasty and very reasonably priced menu. Nothing fancy here. Just nice clean well attended small place. I like. Visited at least five times and they are consistent, food hot, tasty, freshly cooked, mmm mmm. Last visit had breakfast, "lluevos ranchers especial", $6.99 includes three eggs, papas, one sausage patty, two strips bacon, half slice ham, and two freshly made tortillas. Good food here.

Had their asado de puerco plate and it was really good! Gotta go back to try other foods! Also try their albondigas!

The pride of the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon. A menu sent from heaven. Caldos, pozole, menudo, meat in sauce, and of course Cabrito! No Tex/Mex here! Food has great flavor and feels like old Mexico. Complementary fideo soup to start your meal as well as chips and salsa. Chip bowl includes salsa and chili seperate. I had never seen that before. One can really feel the culture here. feels like eating in a loving family's house dinning room. Banda on TV to entertain. Great service.

Always drop in on my way back to Laredo. Excellent food and friendly atmosphere.
